I first qualified as a Primary school teacher in 2004, after completing a Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Science at Bangor, University of Wales. I taught for 2 years in Manchester as a Year 3 teacher. During the summer of 2005, I completed my TEFL course in Rome, which made me determined to live abroad. I moved to Thailand in 2006 to work at Amnuay Silpa Bi-lingual School, I had a fantastic time working and learning about the bilingual system and meeting many other dedicated educators. During my time at Amnuay Silpa, I taught Year 1, 2, 3 and 4 and I also had the honour of being the KS1 coordinator. I previously worked at St Andrews International School, Dusit, teaching Year 5 children. I am extremely excited to be a part of the St Andrews International School Bangkok community as it has always felt so welcoming and friendly.
