I was born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky. In 2011, I moved to eastern Kentucky where I attended and played basketball for the University of Pikeville. In 2015, I graduated from the university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication. During the year following, I spent some time exploring different states.
In September of 2016, I moved to a small town outside of Charlotte. Shortly after, I became a member of the BISC team. I instantly felt a connection with the staff and students. Here is where I have been falling in love with teaching and have been inspired to further my career to have my own classroom one day. I am currently in a Graduate Program at UNC Charlotte, where I am studying Special Education.
I know my time at BISC will come to an end one day. I am truly grateful for everything this BISC family has done and taught me. I have learned and continue to learn so much and will take it all with me on my next adventure. Until that time comes, I will cherish and enjoy the moments working at this school.
