Originally from Mount Vernon, Iowa, I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Music for Opera Performance from the University of North Texas. My operatic repertoire includes: Mrs. Grose in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw, Jadwiga in Polenblut, Dorabella in Così fan tutte, Mrs. Gibbs in Our Town, Nina in The Seagull by Pasatieri, Second Lady in The Magic Flute, Olga Kromov in The Merry Widow, Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro, and Hermia in A Mid-Summer Night’s Dream. I am currently a voice and piano instructor and also serve as the Juilliard Music and Expressive Arts Teacher. I have taught toddlers to adults in General Music and Theory, as well as voice, piano, flute and percussion at the middle, high school and college levels in Texas and Delaware. I have been singing regularly in multiple professional ensembles, including: The Highland Park Chorale, The Dallas Bach Society, New World Voices, The Orchestra of New Spain, and the Dallas Chamber Choir. Some of the venues to date include: The Winspear Opera House, The Dallas Performing Arts Center, The Myerson Symphony Center, Opera Delaware, Simpson College Opera, Lycoming College, University of North Texas Opera, The Des Moines Metropolitan Opera, and the Des Moines Community Orchestra, as well as multiple venues in Italy, Scandinavia, Russia and the Czech Republic.
I’m most excited to be at the British International School of Charlotte and to continue the Juilliard Creative Classroom with your children!
