This year's show, a Festival of Short Plays, was an outstanding success.

The students of BSN pulled off an astounding performance which dazzled a packed audience and demonstrated what professional performers we have at our school.

We began the show with Commence, a show which highlighted the stresses and disappointments of lockdown, and the impact that Covid is having on students across the world. Lord of the Pies then took to the stage next, showing a weird world were Frank (a strange man who has a lot of cats) takes charge of the last remaining humans left on the planet. And finally, we ended with Mmmbob, an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Here, things take a peculiar turn. The witches take over the storytelling, Queen Duncan would rather open a donut franchise than die, Lady M's a bloodthirsty killer and Mmmbob does everything he can to make his wife happy – a job easier said than done.

I would like to share my appreciation to all the students who dedicated their time to learn lines and contribute to this incredible show. Gratitude also goes to the parents who helped to create the amazing set, giving the students a real feel for what a professional show would feel like.

A huge thank you to all who attend the show. We look forward to seeing you next time.
