Music Teacher

B Mus Hons in Music, Trinity College of Music

Post Graduate in Music, The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama

I am half Finnish and a further mix of Irish and Dutch and born in the UK. I have always had a passion for music and have learnt many instruments (violin, viola, piano, ukulele, recorder and so on) before settling on the Cello. I have been involved with many different areas music making from recordings, the stage and educational outreach projects to areas where music making was not even considered.

I have lived in China for 11 years and have enjoyed exploring various corners of China and Asia. I enjoy travelling but always love coming back to be reunited with my dog. In addition to my love of music, I have a passion for pottery and ceramics. Creating pots, bowls, mugs and objects from clay is really satisfying, especially playing with all the different glazes!
