Early Years 1:1 Support Teacher

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated part time Support Teacher to work 1:1 with an Early Year’s student. The number of hours for this position will be approximately 3 hours a day. This role is term time only.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and Learning Support Link Teacher to support the student in the Early Year’s Environment by encouraging the student to engage in teacher-led activities; modelling social and  play skills with their peers as well as fostering independence and encouraging learning. 

Essential skills needed are: working well in a team; excellent communication skills; understanding and caring personality and the ability to work with class teacher to differentiate the learning, where necessary.  The successful candidate will have experience within an Early Years classroom and may have experience supporting students both within the classroom and on a 1:1 basis as well. We would love to hear from you if you feel you could support students to reach their potential.
