Early Years Building Blocks Series “Nurturing Your Child’s Social-Emotional Development”

Join us for our next installment of the Early Years Building Blocks Series “Nurturing Your Child’s Social-Emotional Development”.

“Nurturing Your Child’s Social-Emotional Development” will be presented by Samantha Schlanger, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and School Therapist at The British International School of Houston. The aim of the presentation is to explore strategies for cultivating the emotional intelligence of children and adolescents. Research has shown that a strong social and emotional foundation leads to positive outcomes that powerfully impact children’s later attitudes, behaviors, academic performance, and adult health outcomes. This presentation will cover areas such as social skills, self-regulation, understanding emotions, and encouraging positive behaviors.

Date: Thursday 15th November 2018
