After completing my degree, I worked in the banking sector for 1 and a half years and I started my library profession in 2012 as a Library Assistant at The Alice Smith Schools for three years. I have developed multiple skills required to organise library materials so they are easy to find. In my current position as Assistant Librarian in BSKL, I have gained an insight into the different levels of library management. I have been involved in promoting and monitoring library materials and equipment.
I'm originally from Malaysia and now I live in Ampang with my husband and two kids. I love to spend my free time with my family and do some leisure reading, shopping and travelling.
As the librarian, I believe providing the right information and resources is one of the keys to success. By finding the right books or resources can help them to grow and develop their confidence at the same time.
