    Ms Maria Raven

    My name is Maria Raven, I commenced my employment as the Whole School Counsellor at
    BSKL in August 2018. I trained as a Child & Adolescent Counsellor at the Anglia Ruskin University, In the UK. Since qualifying in 2010, I have been employed as a counsellor in various Schools and a specialist Child & Young Person’s Counselling Service, within the UK.

    I trained and practice as an Integrative counsellor, which enables me to draw upon a range
    of therapies, including, Talking, CBT, Art and Play Therapy, to support and encourage
    positive mental health in young people. I am excited to have the opportunity to use my skills
    and experience to further develop the counselling department at BSKL.

    Assistant Counsellor

    Ms Rebecca Deaville

    Rebecca graduated from Sheffield Hallam University after 4 years of study. Having worked every summer break for NHS mental health services she then went on to study Psychological Therapies at he University of Nottingham. For 3 years prior to moving to KL she delivered 1:1 and group Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner. With a keen interest in sport, Rebecca was a competitive swimmer and as a teenager was selected to train and compete with the British Triathlon World Class Start Squad. She still loves to swim and continues to compete in running events in KL. Rebecca enjoys diving, travel and trying new foods.
