I am delighted to be joining the team at BSKL in the autumn of 2020 from my most recent experiences teaching in the UK.
I am passionate about helping children to progress by providing challenging and inspiring learning experiences in a positive and nurturing environment. It gives me great pleasure to see the children shine and start to realise their potential.
During the last few years I have taught both Key Stage One and Two children in a large primary school in South Manchester. Throughout my time there, I have been Art and Design lead, coordinated the school’s Learning Council and taken responsibility for organising end of year productions. I strongly believe that Creative Arts is an important aspect of developing children’s confidence and creativity.
Prior to this, I studied at York St John University where I gained a first class degree in Primary Education. As part of my course, I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to go to Austria to teach English. This experience, alongside my travels around other parts of the world, ignited my passion to teach abroad.
Outside of school, I enjoy reading, baking, going to the theatre and keeping active at the gym. I love to travel and discover new places and I am excited to experience more of Asia.
