After graduating with BSc in Microbiology, I completed a Teaching Certificate of Chinese as a Foreign Language. I also hold a TCSOL qualification. I have taught Mandarin across Key Stages 2 to 4 in BSKL and with my own experience as a language learner, I have a solid understanding of the challenges in learning Mandarin as a Second or Foreign Language.
Being a language enthusiast, I find enormous satisfaction in picking up new languages and sharing my experience and enthusiasm with the students. I enjoy working with a variety of children from different countries and being the House Advisor for Vikings have given me a huge opportunity to do that. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, practising yoga and playing piano.
Student happiness is about providing the students with a safe environment to learn. I strongly believe that by actively listening to the students and being there for them, we can provide a safe, happy learning environment for all.
