How do I start the admissions process?

The first step would be to complete our enquiry form and we will be in touch as soon as possible. For a step by step guide to our admissions process, please visit our website here

May we visit the school?

We encourage families to visit our school. Parents are welcome to contact our Admissions Team (admissions@naisr.nl) to schedule an appointment.

In the case that COVID regulations do not allow parents inside our campus, we will be more than happy to schedule a one-on-one Virtual Discovery Meeting with you, or feel free to join one of our upcoming Virtual Open Days.

What curriculum do you follow?

We offer a ful international curriculum from the Early Years right through to graduation. Our curricula consists of the International Early Years Curriculum (IEYC), the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), the International Middle Years Curriculum (IMYC) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). More information about our curriculum can be found here.

Is there a deadline for applications and may students start at any time during the school year?

We accept students throughout the year and therefore have no application deadlines. However, each year group has a limited number of spaces available, so contact us as soon as possible if you are considering applying.

What are the guidelines for Year group placement?

Year group placement is confirmed when all required admissions documents have been received and viewed by Principals and the official interview (and testing if applicable) has taken place with the student.

  • Foundation 1 is available for students who are three (3) years old on or before the 1st of September of the year of entry
  • Foundation 2 is available for students who are four (4) years old on or before the 1st of September of the year of entry
  • Year 1 is available for students who are five (5) on or before the 1st of September of the year of entry

School Services:

Does the School offer additional English or Special Needs support?

NAISR provides a variety of support services, tailored to fit individual needs.

English as an Additional Language (EAL) support is available - at no additional cost - for students from Year 1 to Year 11 whose first language is not English and need additional language support. Children arriving with English as an additional language quickly find their feet in our supportive culture.

The Learning Support Programme is designed to assist in developing the academic, behavioral and social development of students identified as in need of extra support. This programme does have an additional cost, based upon the level of support required.

Do you offer a lunch service?

All students have the option of purchasing lunch (hot and cold options) from our school cafeteria. Our menus can be viewed each month on our website. Alternatively, students are also welcome to bring a packed lunch from home.

Do you have a bus service?

NAISR has established a bus transportation service to provide the most efficient, safe and timely transport for your child to and from school. We offer a unique door-to-door transportation service for students from 3-18 years of age.

Fees for bus services are dependent on the location of the pick-up/drop-off zone, in accordance with the 6 zones defined by the School.

For more information about our door-to-door transportation service or for any general transportation queries, do not hesitate to contact us at: admissions@naisr.nl or you can speak to our admissions team when visiting our school.

Do you offer After School and Holiday Care?

We are delighted to offer after school care for students in Early Years and Primary from 15:00-18:30.

We also offer Wednesday afternoon care for our Early Years students (12:00-18:30), care for early dismissal days (12:00-18:30) and holiday care during our school holidays (08:00-17:00).

Supervision is provided by child care workers from our onsite child care, Funtazia. Please note there is a supervision service charge for this service. If you are interested in registering your child for this service, please complete this online form.

Do you offer co-curricular activities?

We offer a wide range of Co-Curricular Activities. Our Co-curricular Program runs weekly (excluding school holidays).

Our students enjoy opportunities to join sports teams, pursue their passions for the creative arts, and participate in clubs where they learn new skills or develop existing ones. This is part of our commitment to student health and wellbeing at NAISR.

The Co-curricular Handbook contains details of all Skill Development Sessions (tutoring), After School Clubs, Music Lessons and other activities offered at NAISR. This handbook is updated each school year and made available to our families shortly after the school year begins.

We also have a full Athletic Program. Our 'Sharks' of all ages are encouraged to participate. Our athletic programme is comprised of intramural and inter-scholastic competitions, meaning some students practice and play along with schoolmates, while others play against other schools or clubs (NECIS Team Programme).
