Iwan Redan visits NAISR Athletics Department

Iwan Redan visits NAISR Athletics Department On Friday, 1 November, the NAISR Athletics department had a visit from ex-footballer, Iwan Redan. Secondary HAPE students, the IB Sports Science class, and a lucky grade 2 class received an intense, energetic and fun training from Iwan and his assistant.

On Friday, 1 November, the NAISR PE department had a visit from ex-footballer, Iwan Redan.

Secondary HAPE (Health, Advisory & Physical Education) students, the IB Sports Science class, and a lucky grade 2 class received an intense, energetic and fun training from the two trainers. 

The IB Sports Science students ran through quite a dynamic circuit traning, while the other classes learned how to correctly lunge, bear crawl, play relay tic-tac-toe as well as participated in other creative and ability-based relays. 

Iwan stressed the importance of a strong, healthy mindset and supportive teamwork in addition to pushing yourself physically while having fun.  It was a fantastic and very memorable visit!!  Iwan also has an academy designed to improve coordination, agility, endurance, speed and strength.  For more information, please check out Beyond Yourself.
