    Danielle Mashon

    Danielle is originally from Vancouver, Canada, and has been teaching for 10 years internationally. She is a qualified secondary-level English and Social Studies teacher, and has taught on the sunny island of Geoje, South Korea, the historical city of Vienna, Austria and now calls The Netherlands home.

    Danielle is currently the IB Diploma Programme Coordinator at NAISR and previously held the role of IMYC leader. In addition, Danielle is an experienced accreditor and lead trainer for Fieldwork Education. She has visited schools across the globe and supports them in improving learning via delivery of Fieldwork curricula.

    Outside of school, Danielle enjoys traveling internationally and trying new outdoor activities.

    Nicholas Slowinski

    Nick comes from Adelaide, Australia. He has experience in different fields of education, starting with studying in outdoor education and becoming a qualified PADI SCUBA diving instructor. This resulted in Nick working in Cairns, Australia teaching people from all around the world how to SCUBA dive on the Great Barrier Reef. It was during this time that he developed his passion for teaching.

    Following this experience he went back to university and completed his Bachelor of Human Movement (Sports Science) and Master of Teaching at the University of South Australia. Upon completion he moved to the Netherlands to develop his career further.

    Tenley Elliott

    Tenley is originally from the state of Oregon in the US where she obtained her qualifications in the field of Human Development and Family Sciences with an option in Education.

    As a young exchange student in both Japan and Ecuador, she discovered her passion for traveling and has always had a love of learning. After teaching for a few years in the US, Tenley moved to the Netherlands to start her career in international teaching and learning at NAISR.

    Tenley joined our school as a teacher in the early years program and has since taken on multiple responsibilities. She has taught various grades in elementary, English and EAL in Middle School, and now teaches Health, Advisory, and Physical Education (HAPE) across all Middle School grades. She is also a Middle School homeroom teacher and is the teacher facilitator for the High School Student Council.

    In addition to teaching, Tenley enjoys coaching multiple sports including volleyball, tennis and fitness.

    IB Mathematics, IB Physics and Grade 12 Homeroom Teacher

    Fei Deng

    Fei Deng graduated with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering. She started teaching through the 'Teach for America' program in 2008 in New York City. Fei taught Algebra for four years in New York City, then she moved to Cairo Egypt in 2012 for one year. There she taught Integrated Science and Environmental Science in Secondary school.

    In 2013, Fei moved to the Netherlands and started teaching in NAISR. For the past six years, she has been teaching IB Physics, both standard and higher level. She has also taught IB Math studies, standard and higher level. She is also currently teaching IB Math Analysis and Approaches higher level, as well as secondary science and mathematics at NAISR. Alongside of teaching, Fei is also the head of the Science department.

    Gee Liu

    Gee has always thrived with a passion for helping people be the best they can be. She has taught as a Mathematics teacher since 2013 in London, Auckland and Stockholm. Gee has experience with Further Mathematics, A-levels, International Baccalaureate, Cambridge and NCEA. She is trained in both Calculus and Statistics disciplines.

    Gee grew up in the lush green land of New Zealand. Her love of learning new cultures and teaching globally has led her to Europe. She holds a conjoint teaching degree, specialising in Mathematics and minoring in Computer Science. Her classes burst with engagement and kind support. Communication between student-teacher-parent rapport are among the strengths Gee brings to the classroom.

    Noemí Castell Devís

    Noemí is originally from Spain where she received her degree in Business Administration and Management. For many years, she worked for different international companies and had various positions of responsibility.

    In 2012, Noemí moved to The Netherlands where she discovered her passion for being a teacher. First, she taught adults and two years later children. During this time, Noemí also obtained her diploma as a Spanish teacher and her Master’s in Secondary Education in the specialties of Business and Economics.

    Her passion, empathy and enthusiasm are present during her IB Economics and Spanish lessons. She feels tremendously lucky and can safely say that she loves and enjoys her work. Noemí feels that there is no better reward than the satisfaction of seeing her students succeed.

    Gerry Stacey

     

    Gerry is an Australian teacher who has lived in the Netherlands on and off for almost 10 years. She completed her Bachelor of Education in 2001 and has since enjoyed teaching in Australia, Italy, The UK, US and The Netherlands. Realising her passion for visual arts, Gerry returned to Australia after working at the American International School of Turin to complete her Diploma of Visual Arts. Gerry is passionate about visual arts and the creative process, recognising the benefits in engaging in the arts both inside and outside of the classroom setting.

    In response to the ever occurring natural disasters in Australia, Gerry took a break from the classroom to work for the Australian Red Cross Emergency Services where she worked alongside local artists and community members to promote and create community art projects and to run recovery workshops in schools.

    Gerry currently resides in Rotterdam with her family. Between working and being a mother of two, Gerry attempts to find time to continue developing her own artistic practice.

    Bradley Gooding

    After starting his teaching career as an AP at a college preparatory school in California, Bradley took a short respite from the classroom in order to pursue concurrent sporting opportunities in Rotterdam and Washington DC. After eventually settling in Rotterdam, Bradley returned to the classroom in 2009 and is now guiding students through the IB diploma program in both Social Studies and Psychology. In addition, Bradley is our University Counsellor and has also served as head coach for both the U12 girls and varsity boys basketball teams.

    In his spare time, Bradley can most often be found with his wife and two daughters. Otherwise, he is likely out walking the dog, reading one of the books from his bedside table, or on the golf course.
