Madi hails from the small town of Grabouw in the Western Cape, South Africa. Famous for it's apple production, don't be surprised if you hear her being called "Appel Kind" (apple child) by fellow South Africans. She obtained both her degree and PGCE at Stellenbosch University.
She discovered her fondness for travelling during her High School years when she was part of the school's exchange programme with Germany. Since then she has travelled and worked in various locations across the globe, some of which include Alaska, China and the Caribbean.
In addition to her teaching in China and the Netherlands, Madi was also a Maths and Biology teacher in South Africa. Her first love is Biology, but Math is a close second. She has experience in iGCSE, A-levels, AP and IB. Madi has a great passion for education and helping children to grow and develop to their full potential. Her diverse teaching experience has taught her how to work with children from various cultures and economic backgrounds.
When you meet Madi you'll learn that she has a great love for life, people and the creative world. You'll be taken by her quirky humour, ballroom dancing moves, and her ability to beat anyone at Monopoly.
