Tenley is originally from the state of Oregon in the US where she obtained her qualifications in the field of Human Development and Family Sciences with an option in Education.
As a young exchange student in both Japan and Ecuador, she discovered her passion for traveling and has always had a love of learning. After teaching for a few years in the US, Tenley moved to the Netherlands to start her career in international teaching and learning at NAISR.
Tenley joined our school as a teacher in the early years program and has since taken on multiple responsibilities. She has taught various grades in elementary, English and EAL in Middle School, and now teaches Health, Advisory, and Physical Education (HAPE) across all Middle School grades. She is also a Middle School homeroom teacher and is the teacher facilitator for the High School Student Council.
In addition to teaching, Tenley enjoys coaching multiple sports including volleyball, tennis and fitness.
