A BRIGHT, SPACIOUS ENVIRONMENT

Across Early Childhood, Lower School, and Upper School, all our classrooms have been designed to be light and spacious — vividly arranged with learning materials that uplift and motivate our students to perform at their best.

Our spacious community hub is a favorite centralizing spot for students, parents, teachers, and staff to come together for a variety of events throughout the year, as we nurture our community spirit and admire each other’s talents. This inclusive space, among others, encourages our students to make friends across NAISNY’s many cultures and nationalities, so we can cherish our diversity.

A MARVELLOUS CREATIVE ARTS FLOOR

Our Creative Arts Floor at NAISNY has everything your child needs to discover their voice, showcase their vision, and perform at the highest standards. Fully stocked with equipment, world instruments, and creative materials, our rooms for art, music, dance, and drama allow your child to build their technical artistry and theoretical skills under the guidance of our specialist teachers. This includes all activities of our Juilliard performing arts curriculum.

STIMULATING PLAY

AN ENERGETIC EARLY YEARS FLOOR

Our lively Early Years Floor features a colorful, indoor playground and several hands-on activity stations with a variety of materials and objects. The floor even includes a large imaginative garden room, where students use natural materials and a greenhouse to care for plants.

These facilities encourage our youngest learners to build their skills and understanding of the world, as they take the lead in their own leading. They have fun in our caring environment that allows NAISNY teachers to personalize instruction to each individual child.

MOTIVATING ACTIVITY

A ROOFTOP PLAYGROUND AND FULL-SIZE GYM

Our exciting rooftop offers a playground and comfortably sized green space for your child to play games outside on a regular basis. The rooftop is also a favorite space for NAISNY family picnics.

We additionally have a full-sized, multifunctional gym that our students use for full-sized basketball court games, indoor soccer, and other physical activities or games, especially during Physical Education (PE) or Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs). Our gym allows your child to experience a wide a range of sports, encouraging an active lifestyle alongside great teamwork and sportsmanship skills.

READY FOR INNOVATION

OUR MIT MAKERSPACES

Our Early Years, Lower School, and Upper School floors each have their own MIT Makerspace, designed appropriately for the STEAM challenges of each age group. Our advanced equipment, technology, and materials in each encourage your child to apply their ideas to real-world challenges. They can build their own projects and learn from hands-on activities. For example, students use tablets for coding their own projects and a 3D printer for making models.

Across all makerspaces, students build transferable skills like flexibility, creativity, collaboration, and communication.
