Marta is very proud to be the Caterpillar teacher here at Nord Anglia International School New York, where she has worked since 2014. Marta also supervises the school’s Extended Day Provision, a service that the school offers to all families to look after children after school until 6pm each evening.
Marta has worked with young children for the past 25 years and has a wealth of experience of working in the early years. Marta enjoys working with very young children as every day is different, with different challenges that allow her to be creative and pursue her passion to help children develop new skills and understanding. Marta has also worked extensively with children with special educational needs as well as children in mainstream early years settings.
Marta has two sons, Tristan and Jeremy, but still ensures she finds time to develop her own professional practice. Marta recently completed a Paediatric First Aid Certificate and the British School Overseas Inspection Level 1 qualification, as part of her commitment to lifelong learning and improving the quality of her teaching and learning in the classroom.
