Clubs Offered

We offer an active and exciting after school program for our Early Years and Primary children to supplement our academic curriculum.

To enhance and enrich your child’s learning environment, we offer a wide range of extracurricular activities for students who want to discover and learn something new. Many of these clubs are run by our own school staff and children are welcome to sign up termly for these, free of charge. 

In order to enhance our extracurricular provision we work in close partnership with many New York City club providors and coaches. Please see below for a comprehensive list of the clubs available. 

From individual and team sports to dance, art, and music classes, activities vary by age and largely depend on the interests of our students. In addition, your child can participate in student leadership and community service opportunities throughout the year.

Short Description:  Inline and ice-skating
X-Games and world-renowned alternative sports professionals.  Our mission at Go! Is to provide our students with access to a variety of alternative sports and activities.  Engaging these different types of activities opens door to a wealth of experiences.  We aim to enrich the lives of our participants with our programming and have fun in the process.  By expanding horizons and providing the opportunity to engage in skate, bike, snow and surf sports, as well as movement, dance and art we provide a platform in which students can explore a variety of skill-building activities that enhance their strengths and encourages growth.

Short Description:  Hip hop and ballet
Hip Hop for girls and boys ages two to nine year olds is an exciting and dynamic class that will teach children basic hip hop technique of isolations and contractions, and identifying differences in movement quality and enhance their understanding of musicality. Students will work on building confidence while learning popular dance moves from their favorite music videos! The hour-long class will be jam packed with bold and energetic exercises and choreography!
Baby Ballet, Toddler Ballet, Pre Ballet and Ballet for boy and girls!  Age appropriate exploration and development is key.  Please enquire for further information on the specifics that your boy or girl will be learning for their age group.
Tuesday – Hip Hop, 3:15 to 4:15pm.  $650 semester.
Thursday, 3:15 – 4:15pm – Ballet for 5-12 yrs.  $650 semester.
Friday, 3:15 – 4:15pm.  Pre-school ballet w/ snack  Ages 2-4.

Short Description: Cooking Class
Explore the wonderful world of food with Butter Beans in this farm-to-table cooking class for young chefs! Students will discover the basics of nutrition, wellness, and food seasonality, while learning kitchen skills they can practice and use at home. Each class concludes with time for a shared meal and stories around the table. From learning how to create a balanced plate to discovering new and tasty foods, the Butter Beans budding chefs will learn all about food from seed-to-plate in this fun, hands-on cooking experience. 
Wednesdays, 3:15-4:15 for Pre-K and K
Ages:  Designed for 4-11 year olds
Tuition: $30 per class (Paid in entirety for each Winter and Spring Session)
Short Description: Sports/Dance Fitness
PopFit Kids Jr.  – Get ready for an action packed healthy adventure with high-energy fitness fun, good-for-you-games and nutritional know-how that kids can share with the whole family. Through energizing circuits, fitness games, obstacle courses and more each PopFit adventure will hit on the Fab Five: Cardio, Strength, Flexibility, Balance and Endurance.  Children will work toward increasing muscle coordination, improving motor planning skills, and engaging in total body awareness. 
PopFit Kids FUNctional Fitness – Whether preparing for sports or general movement, this fun-plus-fitness club introduces exercise and conditioning in a cool, fast-paced environment.  Among the many techniques to be taught, students will learn the proper way to sit right for a sit-up, bend it for a box jump and lateral lunge with accuracy.   Kids will engage week to week in high-energy circuit activities, agility drills, resistance training, dynamic stretches and more while learning the benefit of the PopFit Fab Five: Cardio, Strength, Flexibility, Endurance, and Balance.

Short Description:  The sport of Rugby
Play Rugby USA is an after school Flag Rugby (non-contact) program. It is a new and exciting sport where everyone gets to run, catch, tag, pass and score! This non-traditional sport, suitable for boys and girls, will involve lots of fun tagging, evasion and team-invasion games while learning all the basic fundamentals. Absolutely no rugby experience is required – you will learn everything from a fully trained rugby coach (Youth Development Mentor) who will deliver Play Rugby USA’s game-based curriculum that focuses on infusing rugby values (camaraderie, respect, teamwork, etc.) with fun.

Tiger Tennis Academy  is a children's tennis education program specializing in after school tennis classes and camps for children ages 3 to 16 in the New York City area.  Their program at our school offers a safe, extra-curricular learning environment for our students that parents have come to love and appreciate.

Super Soccer Stars aka Kick and Play
Short Description: Soccer for the Young Ones
At Super Soccer Stars, it is our goal to teach soccer skills in a fun, non-competitive, educational environment. Our philosophy is to use soccer to nurture, to build self-confidence, and to develop teamwork in every class. Our specially designed curricula use positive reinforcement and a low child-to-coach ratio to ensure that each child improves at his or her own rate while having endless fun.

Short Description:  Soccer
Futsal school is geared towards building technique and confidence with the ball. US Soccer has included futsal in its latest curriculum for players 6-14 years old in an effort to develop players with more comfort on the ball. The ball is small and heavy, the court is tight and the play is quick and reactive. The condensed space and fewer players on the court allows for more repetition in the small sided attacking game. Lots of fun!

Short Description:  Lego Brick Building
At Bricks 4 Kidz®, we learn, we build, and we play with LEGO® Bricks! We use LEGO® products to provide a fun, hands-on learning and building experience focused on STEM concepts.  Bricks 4 Kidz® will introduce students to the principles of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) along with Architecture using LEGO® Bricks. The program aims to stimulate the imagination and cultivate engineering habits of the mind. Young children are little engineers. The provided activities are designed to trigger young children’s lively imaginations and build their self-confidence.
