As part of the ASDAN/Lifeskills coursework, students in INRL will be embarking on a mini-enterprise project selling delicious home-made smoothies to staff and possibly students.
The aim of the project is to provide opportunities for students in INRL to take ownership of their very own project; develop useful skills in sales and marketing, communication, and team work; and of course, to have lots of fun in the process!
For the past weeks, pupils in INRL have been very busy. From travelling from supermarket to supermarket, identifying the ingredients needed to make a winning smoothie, to experimenting with different creations and concoctions in the kitchen, to designing posters for display around the school campus, our INRL pupils have been working hard to make this project a success.
The smoothies will go on sale at $5 a mug, and come in 5 tantalising different flavours: Banana, Strawberry, Blueberry, Apple, and Pineapple. Sales will begin on the second week of November during snacks and Lunch breaks. There are already pre-order forms going around the school for staff to place their orders. The students from INRL look forward to your fullest support so get ready for a refreshing, revitalising, Smoothie-good time!
