Creativity, activity, service (CAS) is one of the three essential elements that every student must complete as part of the Diploma Programme (DP). Studied throughout the Diploma Programme, CAS involves students in a range of activities alongside their academic studies. It is not formally assessed. However, students reflect on their CAS experiences as part of the DP, and provide evidence of achieving the seven learning outcomes for CAS.
In this asembly our IBDP students showcased their talents with a song and rap, along with explanation of the activities they have been involved in, such as rock-climbing, the student band and volunteering at a mental health centre. They were joined by two Year 13 students who showcased their skills in art and computer animation. It was very informative and inspirational for the other students to see the skills and experiences that our IB students have been involved in with CAS.
