Helping our TAs to develop range of skills and new strategies to support children
Alongside a full morning of professional development for our teaching staff, part of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme at DCIS involves developing the range of skills within our team of Teaching Assistants (TAs). Today, our TAs participated in sessions which were facilitated by our DSE teachers and support staff such as Understanding Autism, Phonics, Place Value, Sensory Processing, Posture for Learning and Developing Independence.
Our TAs learned new strategies to support children and shared their own knowledge and experience in these areas.
