On Friday 12th January, our Year 6 Students launched their new International Primary Curriculum topic, AD 900! In celebration of the event, guests from various different time periods made a surprising appearance! We met William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar, Anne Frank, Albert Einstein, Neil Armstrong, Frida Kahlo and many more! It was a fantastic morning where we learned all about what these incredible historical figures did that made them so famous today. The children enjoyed describing their successful achievements to one another, ordering themselves chronologically and acting out their main professions for us all to guess. It was a fun-filled morning and the children very much enjoyed teaching one another about why they were such important figures even though they lived many years before us.
