Aviation Talk for Year 4

12 June 2018

This week a very significant event is happening in Singapore…   It’s Aviation Week!

  • Aviation Talk for Year 4
  • Aviation Talk for Year 4
  • Aviation Talk for Year 4
  • Aviation Talk for Year 4

Yesterday, Year 4 were treated to a special talk from a team of people who work in the aviation industry. The children learnt about the different types of jobs that people do in the industry and they particularly enjoyed the Q and A part at the end, where their curiosity led to some interesting questions! The talk built nicely on their learning in Term 1, when they took on the MIT STEAM Challenge - Greener Skies, which explored aeroplane re-design. Many thanks to Caleb Hiltgen and Sarah Kalmeta from Universal Weather and Aviation and Year 4 parent Gary Moran for helping to organise this talk.
