Healthy Mind Platter

12 June 2018

Mr. Rinaldi's Upper Primary assembly last week focused on the importance of keeping a healthy mind and the advantages this has for us, not just for learning, but for our development and morale.

Mr. Rinaldi explained how we previously mainly used to look at a healthy living, reflecting over what it looked like when he was at school. Over the years we have understood the importance of also developing a healthy mind.

Seven key ways to keep a healthy mind were discussed, presented as the 'Healthy Mind Platter'. As they entered the assembly, all students got to collect strips of cards,  which corresponded to a component of the Healthy Mind Platter. The students then held some interesting discussions on how they keep their minds healthy and advised others on what they could do as well. A thought-provoking assembly!
