Year 4 enjoyed their third Project Work Unit this term - Scavengers and Settlers!
Humans are special. Unlike other animals, we can adapt and learn new skills in order to survive, which is exactly what our ancestors did in the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages.
In their last IPC topic of this term, Scavengers and Settlers, Year 4 have been making houses and settlements linked to their historical learning on Skara Brae and Bronze Age houses. They have made some very successful pieces and have demonstrated design and technology skills. The children have also been reading The Boy with the Bronze Axe in English which is set in Skara Brae.
