Years 2, 3 and 4 have been learning all about staying safe at the swimming pool and in the sea.
They have learnt how to do a safety step, how to tread water and have been introduced to a basic noodle rescue. This week all the children came to the pool in their pyjamas and we practiced our survival back stroke, side stoke and how to remove one item of clothing in the water.
Reception and Y1 have also been learning how to float, monkey crawl along the side of the pool and swim without goggles.
All the children have really enjoy their swim safety lessons and have learnt how important it is to stay safe in and around large bodies of water.
Well done children!
