International Dot Day was created to encourage people of all ages to harness their creativity and it has grown to be a worldwide celebration each year. In EYFS our students got busy with writing, drawing, painting, or other creative outlets.
The children in Early Years Foundation Stage have been head to toe in spots as they celebrated celebrating International Dot Day today.
The children were inspired by the story of The Dot to create their own art pieces and have been creating their own rainbow circle designs in the style of Kandinsky.
The day was a fantastic opportunity for us to practise our gross and fine motor movements as well as exploring shapes, colour and textures.
