Nicola Bennett graduated from the University of Reading in 2008 with a BA (Hons) in English Literature and went on to obtain her Postgraduate Certificate in Education from The Institute of Education, University College London.
Nicola’s teaching career began in London where she taught English Language and Literature to students from Year 7 to Year 13 and developed a passion for ensuring that all students are provided with an environment that allows and encourages them to reach their full potential, a belief that is very much at the core of her educational philosophy today. She went on to become the Key Stage 4 Co-ordinator and led the move from a UK based exam board to the IGCSE syllabus during her time in this role. She has previously worked in Singapore but joined Dover Court from The English School in Bogota.
Outside of school, Nicola is (of course) a lover of literature and is often found with a book in hand. She has a strong history in dance and musical theatre and has choreographed a number of school productions, which she remembers as some of her most fulfilling experiences as an educator.
