Elaine has extensive experience of teaching and leadership in KS1 and Early Years, in outstanding educational settings, both in the UK and internationally at The British School of Brussels.
She is a strong believer in a creative, child-centred approach to learning which develops enquiring thinkers with a ‘can do’ growth mind-set. Her belief is that every child should be at the heart of their own learning and she strives to create an environment which nurtures this philosophy.
Elaine has a passion for creating inspirational and stimulating learning environments, both inside and outside the classroom. She has explored the Reggio and Curiosity approach and this is now a big influencer on her teaching.
Elaine has three children of her own, the youngest is a Secondary student at Dover Court. Outside school, she used to love spending time in her garden and walking near her home in Kent and now enjoys relaxing on her balcony and discovering all that Singapore has to offer!
