Niamh Fearon

Dover Court International School Singapore Niamh Fearon Reception teacher

Reception Class Teacher, RNF (Full Time)

Niamh graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast, with a first-class honours degree in Primary Education. During her studies, she specialised in Early Years Education and geography.

After graduating, Niamh left her home in Ireland to embark on a teaching career in an international school in Qatar. During her time there, she taught Reception and Year 1 classes, and organised whole-school events as part of the Maths and Science Committees. After a wonderful few years, it was time to move on and start a new adventure in Singapore. Before joining the Dover Court family, Niamh taught Key Stage 1 classes in Singapore for three years.

Niamh is passionate about providing learning opportunities that allow all students to find their passion, their skills and their strengths. She strives to ignite a love for learning among her students and engage their interests to ensure each child can become the best version of themselves. Building a sense of community in the classroom is very important to her – one where kindness and empathy thrive!

In her free time, Niamh is a keen traveller who enjoys exploring different countries and cultures. In recent years she has become a passionate reader and she loves to spend time with family and friends over a nice cup of tea!
