After graduating as a teacher, Ailsa enjoyed teaching across all age ranges in primary. She has held leadership roles, co-coordinating KS1 and the Early Years Department. Having a passion for SEN, Ailsa decided to pursue this area of education. She has enjoyed developing her knowledge and skills set, particularly in teaching children on the autistic spectrum. Ailsa was appointed as Primary Pathway 3 Leader in 2019 and has been proud to share the school’s inclusive practices within the Nord Anglia community.
Ailsa strongly believes in the importance of enquiry based learning in fostering children’s natural curiosity about the world. She is passionate about creating an engaging, safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and thrive in.
Ailsa enjoys spending time with her family and exploring all the wonderful places this part of the world has to offer. She loves keeping active by running and cycling. Ailsa loves playing the piano and has recently taught herself guitar, which she enjoys sharing in class.
