Fátima joined Dover Court after working for the NHS in a busy London borough and a private clinic in Singapore. In England, Fátima worked with children with a variety of communication needs, in clinics, nurseries and schools. It was a challenging and large caseload that taught her to act fast on her feet, be creative and flexible. When she moved to Singapore, she was keen to continue to provide an ethical and evidence based service and to be part of an inclusive, nurturing framework that values every single child and strives to help each and every one of them reach their full academic, social and emotional potential.
Fátima strives to provide a holistic service to parents and other professionals, an endeavour supported by a variety of past roles such as being part of the Speech and Language Therapy Association in Singapore and being an experienced clinical manager, developing and implementing successful clinic delivery models, and providing supervision to both fellow Speech and Language therapists and students.
Outside school, Fatima's favourite hobbies are traveling and photographing. She also enjoys volunteering, teaching families and a variety of professionals how to help children play, communicate and learn more effectively, in order to help them attain a brighter future.
