Staff Profile: Claire Taylor

Claire Taylor

Year 4 Class teacher (4CT) and Pathway 4 Leader

Claire graduated from the University of Roehampton with BA Primary Education.

During her time at the University of Roehampton Claire began to develop an interest in travelling and teaching overseas. She spent summers working in Italy, teaching English. She would also spend a week in the UK each summer working for a charity which provides a week long residential holiday for children with SEN; this still remains an important part of her summers. These experiences provided a great foundation for her teaching career.

After graduating in 2012, Claire worked at an SEN school in London for 3 years, developing her knowledge and skill set, particularly with supporting individuals on the autistic spectrum.  She continues to be passionate about all areas of SEN and enjoys the opportunity to support and structure aspects of inclusion within the school.

Claire also loves to travel and will continue to make the most of the school holidays by visiting many different countries and exploring different cultures, as well as continuing to investigate everything that Singapore has to offer.
