Gemma Reynolds

Gemma Reynolds

Year 4 Class Teacher, 3/4CE (Full Time)

Gemma graduated from Birmingham University with a BA (hons) in Primary Education.

Gemma is an experienced special needs teacher; has an in-depth understanding of the needs of children and young people with severe disabilities.

Gemma began her teaching career working within a mainstream primary school in Birmingham, England but soon realised her passion for children with learning disabilities and moved to work at a special needs school.

Prior to joining Dover Court International School, Gemma spent four years working with pupils with profound and multiple learning disabilities and pupils with challenging behaviour across primary and secondary.

Gemma believes in a life skills based curriculum, using a hands on approach to allow pupils to learn to the best of their abilities. Her lessons are individualised to pupils varied needs, creating opportunities for communication and social development.

Outside of school Gemma is a very social person who enjoys spending time with friends and family. She loves to be in the sunshine and is enjoying all that Singapore has to offer.
