MEd (Counselling) - University of Auckland, NZ

Meera joined BIS HCMC in August 2019.  She has previously worked as School Counsellor and Head of Student Support in South Africa and New Zealand. Over the past 10 years Meera’s extensive experience as a Counsellor has also included well regarded educational institutions in the UAE, Brunei and most recently, Jakarta. She is a current member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors and abides by their code of ethics.

During the course of her career she has worked with secondary students, but has also worked with younger children and adults. Meera has enjoyed sharing her specialist expertise facilitating workshops and training for professionals working with young people. She feels privileged to have been able to do the work she is so passionate about and continues to learn. Meera loves music, various craft, travelling, pilates, walking, swimming and diving.
