Book Club

22 October 2014

Want to meet some interesting characters?

Open a book.

Want to meet some real-life interesting characters, too?

Come along to book club.

We will explore a different book every month.  You will get the opportunity to read a wide range of books under the expert guidance of a member of the English Department.  This is a great way to communicate with friends and meet new people as well as widen your vocabulary, improve your speaking skills and discuss literary themes.

These sessions will be tailored to specific groups and key stages plus parents will also be able to participate – the more the merrier!  The chosen books will be ones accessible to all and easy to get hold of so what are you waiting for?  Look out for posters around school, grab a copy of the book (hardback, paperback, borrowed, new, e-reader or shared) then find a friend to drag along.
