IB Graduates 2014

26 May 2014

On Saturday 24 May the Class of 2014 attended the International Baccalaureate Graduation Ceremony.

Families travelled from far and wide to witness these young adults receive their High School Diplomas. After an opening address by the Principal Dr Terry Creissen OBE, we witnessed the presentation of the awards. We were delighted to be joined by Sir David Bell KCB, Vice Chancellor of Reading University, UK as our guest speaker, who gave the students some great advice on coping with further education and on.

This years’ student representatives David Fuhrmann, Casper Pages, Ambroise Gleron and Antoni Czerwiński  spoke eloquently about their time on the IB Programme. They shared fond memories and spoke of challenges they faced, giving the audience a real flavour of what it is like to be an IB student at The British School, Warsaw. Dr Jacek Łatkowski, IB Coordinator, rounded up the speeches with a heartfelt commentary, wishing all our students well on their future paths. The event finished with a moving video showing pictures of our students, some of whom have been with us since they were 2 years old. We are very proud of all of our students and wish them all the best for the future.
