Book Week was launched with a highly successful assembly hosted by Year 6LB. Students were able to learn about the importance of reading and why Books are Magic. Throughout the rest of the week many fun and exciting activities took place. Parents dropped by different classes to read their favourite books and the Senior School visit to also read to students. Year One students from Dabrowskeigo visited us for some fun literacy activities and were also able to explore our Primary Library.
For our Book Week finale on Thursday, the children (and staff!) all came dressed up as their favourite book character. The imaginative costumes were amazing. All students looked stunning as the paraded around the school halls to claps and cheers. Following our character parade we were able to visit the PTA Book and Bake Sale. Congratulations to all students in Chopin House, who donated the most number of books. Thank you to all students and families who donated books.
