This week’s Key Stage 3 assembly focused on the impact that having a growth mindset can have on your achievements through having a positive attitude, not giving up and always striving to improve.

Let’s turn “I can’t do it” into “I can’t quite do it yet” and “I give up” into “I’ll use some of the strategies that we’ve learned.” Next time you flick on a light switch, consider the fact that it took Thomas Edison more than 1000 attempts to develop a working light bulb; a truly glowing example of a growth mindset.
