Lost Property – 3rd December
Has your child lost something this term?
This is what happens to anything that gets lost at school …
Whoever finds any lost items firstly puts them into the closest lost property bin – so you should firstly search close to where you child lost their things.
The cleaning staff regularly empty the boxes into the lost property area. Here PTA volunteers sort through the lost property on a weekly basis. Any named items are returned to your child.
Any unnamed uniform is laundered and sold through the PTA second hand shop.
Any unnamed non-uniform is sorted and stored in the Lost Property cupboard. This is locked and the key is held in the school office – please ask at Reception if you need to look in the Lost Property cupboard.
At the end of every term we sort through the lost property lay it out for the children to claim any items they recognize. Anything left over is then laid out in front of the school for parents and carers to look at.
Any remaining items are then donated to charity.
Please come and check for any of your child’s missing items on 3rd December after school.
Charity collection
Don’t forget about the charity collection next week ..
Any items that you no longer need but are still in good, usable condition will be collected. This is a chance to clear out before Christmas and help people in need.
The collection dates and times are:
- Limanowskiego - Wednesday 5th of December at drop off (7:30 am to 8:30 am) and at pick up (2:30 pm to 4:30 pm)
- Dabrowskiego - Thursday 11th of December at drop off (8:30 am to 9:30 am)
Mikolajki – 6th December
To celebrate Mikolajki, the PTA will be gifting every student a small chocolate treat.
Happy Mikolajki from the PTA!
Non uniform Chocolate donation – 7th December
Join us in spreading holiday cheer by participating in our annual PTA Chocolate Tombola. We will have a stall at the Christmas Fair where you are invited to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a sweet treat.
In order to make this happen we need chocolate donations! Every chocolate bar will be assigned a number, if the raffle ticket you buy from our stall at the Christmas Fair matches the number on the chocolate, it's yours!
Please remember to send your student in with a chocolate bar on Friday 7th December as part of the Hot Chocolate and Pyjama day.
