To be or not to be?

The English department hosted a 2 day Shakespeare workshop for Key Stage 3 and Year 10 students. Shakespeare is a key part of the English Key Stage 3 and IGCSE syllabus.

The workshop and performance was a fantastic introduction to Shakespeare for our students; Shakespeare is a key part of the English Key Stage 3 and IGCSE syllabus. 

The workshops and performances was conducted by the founding actor from the Performance Exchange Theatre Company based in London. This independent theatre company that does performances and runs workshops for students all around the world.

The hour long performance featured different scenes from Shakespeare's plays and then engage students from Y9 and Y8 in workshops on the language, themes, staging and acting of Elizabethan drama.
