Students Tap Dance into the Juilliard Creative Classroom

As part of Juilliard Performing Arts Programme, this week year 7 & 8 were lucky enough to experience a taster dance session with the British School Warsaw dance teachers Chris and Joanna Ernest. Our dance teachers had an opportunity to be trained in this curriculum over the summer holidays in New York by the Juilliard teachers.

In the video below you can see students were able to demonstrate some of the Tap Dancing techniques shared.

Afterwards students were invited to sign up for a terms worth of dance classes where they will learn for the Juilliard Creative Classroom Dance Curriculum. This year students at DAB and in Year 6 and 9 will also have the opportunity to attend dance classes during the school day and after school activities are run as part of the The British School LEAP program.
