Over the Christmas period we received the COBIS inspection report. I am very pleased to say that the judgements from this report show us to be compliant in every area of school practice that the inspection reviewed. I have shared the inspection report with the School Strategic Advisory Board and will be meeting Mr Wojciech Stankiewicz, The Chair of the Board after my return from teacher recruitment in London later this month to discuss our action plan from this report. Next week all parents will receive a copy of the report and an accompanying letter from me and shortly after we will be publishing it in its entirety on our website.
This is the first external, international inspection that the school has undertaken. I have mentioned before that soon after I joined the school parents asked me to provide an open and transparent review of how we compare with other international schools. Whilst international inspection reports do not rank a school against others they are an external audit of where we are at, what our strengths and weaknesses may be and indications as to what we can do to further improve. I am delighted to be able to share this report with you next week.
Before the Christmas holidays we launched the Parent Satisfaction Survey for 2018-19 school year. This survey is still live and could I ask that parents who have yet to submit the survey try to find time over the weekend to complete it. It should not take more than 15 minutes and will, with enough responses, provide us with a depth and breadth of reliable feedback from which to begin our next stage of strategic planning for the school. The survey closes at the end of next week so the clock is now ticking for us all. The link for the survey is HERE
I wish you all a lovely snow filled weekend!
