Year 5 & 6 Italian Ski Trip Update

We arrived safely to Milan and went straight to the hotel to get some much-needed sleep!

We arrived safely to Milan and went straight to the hotel to get some much-needed sleep! The next day, we set off for Passo Tonale and drove through the beautiful mountains. After having a delicious 3 course lunch, we had the ski boots, skis and helmets fitted and now the children are very excited to go skiing the next day!

The next day they spent a full day on the slopes in the sunshine (excellent weather again) before going ice skating in the evening.

In the afternoon, all the ski groups joined together to travel up to the glacier by cable car. At the top, we had some time to enjoy the amazing view, take some photos and get a hot chocolate before travelling back down. This evening, the children had a fantastic time sledging down the slopes near the hotel and watching a movie before bed time.

The next day, we have another busy day planned. After our ski lessons, we will be swimming and then going out for pizza.

A big thanks to Snowtraxx for their support during the ski trip.
