Students spent numerous chess sessions on learning how to checkmate the opponent using only a rook or a combination of a bishop and knight as well as practicing the most common chess openings, strategies and combinations.
On the 28th of November they started using this knowledge in practice through the participation in a club tournament. Students play a round or two every Wednesday during the chess club. The tournament is still an ongoing event and any student might win it. Spectators are welcome!
