TBS Teachers in Biegnij Warszawo run!

Gruff Rhys of the The Super Furry Animals once wrote "Turn your face to the sunshine and all the shadows will fall behind" ...

...and that's exactly what a group of TBS Warsaw teachers did last weekend, as they participated in the latest version of Biegnij Warszawo, a 10k run through the streets of Warsaw.

A beautiful sunny day provided the perfect conditions both for running and seeing Warsaw at its finest. This year the route was altered to take across the Vistula into the mean streets of Praga and back again, before eventually finishing at Legia Warsaw stadium. Included in the team this year were BW veteran Bas Kienhuis, Geoff Barham, Olivia Sawday, Will Walder, Nicci Theodoulou, Mike Hutchinson, Ksawery Zielinski and Rob Shepley as well as friends from our neighbours, the American School. We hope that even more colleagues will join us next year for this family-friendly event!
