This week we are pleased to meet Elizabeth McGrath who is a Year 6 Teacher.

Where are you from originally?

I am from Birmingham but was born and brought up in the Middle East

Have you lived in any other countries?

I have lived in Oman, Brunei, Dubai and Switzerland

Where and what did you study for your education? 

I did my degree at The Royal Academy of Dance in London, where I studied Ballet Education. I then did my PGCE at Exeter University.

How long have you been at TBS?

I am new to TBS Warsaw this year. 

What do you enjoy most about teaching at our school?

The children are lovely.

What are you most looking forward to in the 2019/2020 academic year?

I am looking forward to working with Year 6 this year and taking part in some exciting trips.

 Whose your favourite historian/scientist/literary figure and why?

My favourite literary figure has to be Roald Dahl. He is an excellent children's author and makes reading enjoyable for students.

 What is your favourite thing about living in Warsaw, Poland?

There is always something going on and I like that there are so many parks. 

 What do you miss most from home?

My family.
