Message from our Head of Early Years

Even though we have had a short week at school this week the children have been learning a great deal.

In Reception, the children are continuing their dinosaur topic and they have been using junk to create and make their own model dinosaur. This week, junk modelling has been developing the children’s problems solving skills, building confidence and developing their fine motor skills.

The children have been negotiating and communicating when sharing resources and when asking for support. It has also been a great way to teach the children about recycling and how waste can be used.

I hope you have an enjoyable weekend.
