TBS has a competitive advantage

Mr Wieczorek utilised our student’s immediate environment to illustrate the importance of a competitive advantage.

Having successfully elicited the many ways TBS Warsaw holds a competitive advantage, Mr Wieczorek demonstrated through practical examples how the school could extend this advantage. This clearly highlighted the intricacies of decision-making in business.

Forging ahead with the notion of a competitive advantage at the core, our parent guest speaker took our Year 10 and Pre-IB students on a Marketing journey. With only two very similar pain relief medications at his disposal, Mr Wieczorek managed to seamlessly discuss the marketing mix, regulations, patents and the characteristics of a successful entrepreneur all within a normal lesson time!

To say our students were intrigued would be an understatement as they had many questions after the talk had been concluded. Our students have now spoken, patents are vital in the 21st century, being critical is a must and having a competitive advantage may just be the secret weapon.

We express our utmost gratitude to Mr Wieczorek for taking the time out of his busy schedule to extend learning beyond the classroom and for reinforcing our ‘Be Ambitious’ philosophy to our students.
